File columns
Section titled “File columns”Nuvioo reads the first sheet and matches columns by position, not by the header text. Use this order.
| Column | Required | What to enter |
|---|---|---|
skuCode |
No | The item’s SKU. If it matches an existing item, that item is updated. If it doesn’t, or the cell is empty, a new item is created. |
name |
Yes | The item name. |
description |
No | A description. |
visibility |
No | 0 for Visible, 1 for Hidden, 2 for Unavailable. Empty means Visible. |
price |
No | The price in your currency, for example 12.50. It can’t be negative. Empty means 0. |
tax |
No | A tax rate in percent. It can’t be negative. Empty means the location’s tax rate. A comma works as the decimal mark. |
categoryName |
No | The name of an existing category. Capitals and accents are ignored. If no category matches, the item is imported without a category. |
- If two rows have the same
skuCode, the later row wins. - The import is all or nothing. One invalid row stops the whole file, and no item is created or changed.
- The file needs the header row and at least one item row.
Import history
Section titled “Import history”Below the upload area, a table lists the files you imported for items, 10 per page.
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| File name | The name of the file you uploaded. |
| Status | Success (received, waiting to run), Processing, Completed, Failed or Validation failed. |
| Download icon | Downloads the file you uploaded. |
Completed means every row was imported. Validation failed means the file was rejected and nothing changed. Check the file against File columns, fix it, and upload it again.
Export items
Section titled “Export items”The download next to Download existing product file is the only export on the Items page. The file uses the same seven columns and the same 0, 1, 2 visibility values as the import, so you can edit it and upload it again.
It exports products that are in a category, sorted by name. It doesn’t export add-ons, combos, services or products without a category. For sales and menu reports, see Menu performance.
