Set up POS
Set things up in this order. Each step uses what you created in the steps before it. For a map of every guide, see the POS overview.
Set your currency
Choose your currency once. It is locked after you save it. See General settings.
Add your location
Add each shop with its address, time zone, phone and tax. Payments, printers, order types and menus are all set for a location, so add it first. See Locations.
Create categories
Group your menu into categories, such as Manicure or Pedicure, and choose which locations sell them. See Categories.
Add items
Add choices
Build the menu
Create a menu for each location and arrange how it looks on the POS. See Menus and Menu settings. To group items for reports, see Commodity groups.
Add discounts and fees
See Discounts and Extra fees.
Set up tables or stations
See Table management.
Add your team
Create roles, then add employees with a PIN and their locations. Give the Refund order permission only to roles that should refund. See Roles and permissions and Employees.
Set up payments
For each location, turn on the payment methods you accept and set your tip percentages. See Payment settings. Add the reasons staff choose when they refund in Refund reasons.
Set up order types and printers
Choose Dine In and To Go for each location, then add printers. Kitchen printers can route by category, so create your categories first. See Devices and printers.
Connect your POS devices
Register each device with an activation code, or leave Apply device setting? off to let any device sign in. See Devices and printers.
Check your receipts
Choose what prints on customer receipts. See Receipt templates.
Open for online orders
If you take online orders, choose the locations. See Online ordering.
When you’re live, Reports show your sales, and Daily closing checks each day.
