Publish and embed troubleshooting

Use this page when a form you published and embedded doesn’t behave as you expect. Find the message or symptom in the left column.

If your website shows Unable to load this form. Please try again later., the form’s script ran but the form wasn’t available. Check these causes in order.

  1. Check the form's status

Open the form and go to Embed & Publish. A form must be Published. A form that is Disabled, or was never published, shows this message. Click Published on the switch, or click Publish. See Form status.

  2. Check Allowed domains

In Style & Settings, look at Allowed domains. If it has entries, the website that shows the form must be on the list. See Domain not allowed.

  3. Check the embed code

The <div> must keep its data-form-id value. If it was removed or changed, the form can’t load. Copy the code again from Embed & Publish and paste it as is.

  4. Check the connection

If the form works in another browser or network, a firewall or content blocker is stopping the request. Ask your IT team to allow the address in your embed code’s <script> line.

If you see nothing at all, not even a message, the script never ran. Website builders and security settings often remove or block scripts.

  • Your builder removes scripts. Use the iFrame fallback instead. See Other embed options.
  • Your site has a Content Security Policy. Allow the address in the <script> line to load scripts and send requests, and allow the iFrame address if you use an iFrame.
  • A browser extension blocks it. Try a private window with extensions off.
  • The code is in the wrong place. Paste both lines in an area of your page that accepts custom HTML or code.

When Allowed domains has entries, Nuvioo only shows and accepts the form on those websites and their subdomains. On any other site the form doesn’t load, and a submission is refused with This form is not allowed to be submitted from this domain.

To fix it:

  1. Open the form, go to Style & Settings and find Allowed domains.
  2. Add the website that shows the form, for example acme.com. Subdomains such as shop.acme.com are included.
  3. Add every other site in the chain: a page builder preview address, a landing-page tool, or a site that holds your page in an iFrame. Nuvioo checks the whole chain.
  4. Publish again, then reload the page.

Leave Allowed domains empty to let any site show the form. A Nuvioo share link opened on its own always works.

If Cloudflare Turnstile is on, the form runs a check before it sends.

Message Cause and fix
Please complete the verification challenge and try again. The check didn’t finish. The visitor can click the submit button again.
The verification challenge could not load. Disable any content blocker or try a different browser, then submit again. The check script from Cloudflare was blocked or took too long. Ask the visitor to turn off the blocker, or allow challenges.cloudflare.com in your site’s Content Security Policy.

If you can’t fix the blocker for your visitors, turn off Cloudflare Turnstile and keep Honeypot on. See Style & Settings.

Too many submissions, please try again later. means one internet address sent too many submissions in a short time. This often happens when you test a form several times in a row. Wait a minute and try again.

If real visitors see it, for example a whole office on one network, check Rate limit in Style & Settings. A lower value is stricter. Leaving it empty uses Nuvioo’s standard limit.

Message Fix
File must be smaller than N MB. Choose a smaller file, or raise the maximum size on the File upload field. Nuvioo also has its own overall maximum.
This file type is not allowed Choose another type of file.
File uploads are not configured Uploads aren’t available for your account. Contact Nuvioo support.
Could not upload the file. Please try again. Check the connection and try again.

Uploads are also limited in how often they can be sent. If a visitor tries many files in a minute, they may have to wait.

A submission that Nuvioo judges to be spam shows the visitor the normal thank-you message. It is saved, but it doesn’t create a contact, send notifications or start automation. Common reasons:

  • A browser extension or password manager filled the hidden Honeypot field.
  • The form was submitted within a second or two of loading, for example by an automated test.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile is on and the check failed.
  • The address was close to the Rate limit.

To find them, open Results, then use Spam only. Spam rows are dimmed and marked Blocked · spam.

  • Publish your changes. Editing a form doesn’t change what visitors see. Click Publish in Embed & Publish. A form with unpublished edits has the Draft status and a Draft entry marked Unpublished in Version history.
  • Restore creates a draft. Restoring an older version doesn’t put it live. Publish it.
  • Reload the page on your website, or clear your website’s cache if it has one.

The direct share link looks like an address ending in ?form= followed by the form’s ID. If someone shortens or edits the link and removes the ID, the page says Missing form id. Add ?form=<id> to the URL. Copy the link again with Copy link.

If the share link says Unable to load this form. Please try again later., follow The form doesn’t appear.
